Altars, Blood, and Activism

As current Artist in Resident at Brown University, I invited my communities and students to create an altar to the Year of the Rabbit.

Building altars is part of our ancestral rituals, as well as personal practices of creating beacons for empowerment and meaning. Combining kink insignias and cultural tokens, Red Canary Song and Kink Out demonstrate our entwined history of activism and support at Brown University for a Lunar New Year gathering of students and faculty.

Some of my programming at the Uni, include Conversations on SadoMasochism and Blood, Asian Fetishism and Racial Reparation, and Queer Parenting.
