Found this in my younger kid's room as I was cleaning this morning. She centered this quote by artist Sherrie Rabinowitz in abstract painting with colorful streaks and splotches...

Over Pride month, I was dealing with a bullying situation towards my elder child, who came out as trans in early May. I was angry and bewildered at how the parents of the children who were involved were acting, but also in awe of how much support my child had from other kids, families, teachers, and staff.

A deep reminder that LGBTQ+ 🌈 Pride isn't something that comes and goes in a month. Pride isn't something that can be bought or sold. Pride is earned through support, love, care, and action.
