Mercy Mistress On Set Community Agreements

Our community agreements were read at the beginning of production meetings as a way to cultivate an environment of respect and support.

1. We respect the diversity of identities including gender (and pronouns), race, nationality, religious background, ability, and other vibrant multi-faceted aspects of who we are.*
2. We honor each others’ boundaries because when consent is clear, embodied and enthusiastic, everyone wins!
3. We give care to how we communicate and use language that is clear, inclusive, and rooted in the “I.”
4. We show up fully and commit to being accountable to one another and to the work we have agreed to do in order to create an affirming and positive work environment.
5. We give importance to self-care, body-care, and spirit-care and each person’s individual truth about what they need to feel their fullest and wholest.
6. We care for the space that we are in and honor the indigenous origins of the land we are on.
7. We center and uplift marginalized voices, identities, and stories in our work.
8. Through the art that we acknowledge that we come from a world built on intersecting systems of oppression and we resist replicating that culture of violence through our relentless pursuit of collective liberation.​​
