Sharing Rope Again

I took my first rope bondage class with Kaye Buckley in 1998.  I had contacted her for a private class.  Kaye, along with Cleo Dubois and Sybil Holiday, were one of the three founding Matriarchs of the dominatrix profession in San Francisco.  Though they all had their unique personalities and styles of BDSM play, they all imbued a deep sense of respect to spirituality and shamanism into their practice.

I instantly fell in love with rope and would practice it on every submissive who walked into my lair.  Even if they were not interested in bondage, I would weave a diamond harness around their torsos and allow their arms and legs to remain untethered.

Rope--it's economical, utilitarian, sensual or strict.  It travels lightly and washes easily.  It's made of plant and it acts like one, twining and growing over one's limbs.

When I came back to New York with my learned BDSM skills, I held rope soirees with my friends in hotel rooms and we practiced tying one another up.  In 2007, when a dear friend was diagnosed with cancer, I began holding rope classes at my former studio to raise funds.  Rope Share classes became wonderfully popular and were known for their welcoming spirit and talented and patient instructors.

I am excited to be teaching rope bondage classes once again at a new sensuality store in Brooklyn, Please NY.

Read here for the review.

I hope to see you there,
Yin Q
